Our core of inspired caregivers is staffed with over 100 professional men and women committed to our vision of quality senior care and can meet every client need from companionship to hospice and end-of-life care. Always Best Care Cedar Valley employs each and every one of our caregivers, which means we follow all applicable laws including paying our employees overtime wages, and maintain responsibility for their performance while they serve our clients.   • Perform national and local background screenings
  • Assess skill and safety competency prior to hire
  • Complete at least 2 professional reference checks
  • Conduct 2 in-house interviews in addition to a third meeting for new-hire orientation
  • Review caregivers monthly during the first six months of employment
  • Continuously invite caregivers to on-going training and education
  • Enroll each employee in CareGuard© – an ongoing background check that alerts us to potential criminal activity of any employee
