How to Open a Home Care Agency with Always Best Care

As with most franchise opportunities, you’ll have an introductory call with one of our franchise development representatives. This will give you the chance to ask questions and learn more about our investment opportunity. We’ll ask you a few qualifying questions to determine whether you’re a good candidate for our franchise.

After your introductory interview, you’ll receive a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for your specific state. The purpose of the FDD is to provide pertinent information about us as a franchisor. This document is required by law and informs prospective franchisees of their rights and obligations before they sign any franchise agreement. The FDD and franchise agreement are important legal documents that outline the franchisor/franchisee relationship.

At this stage, you’ll need to do a thorough review of all 23 items in the document and complete the receipt pages.

During the validation stage, you’ll have candid conversations with existing Always Best Care franchisees to learn what it’s really like to own a home care franchise. You’ll find that many of our franchisees have personal experience with providing care for older individuals and fully understand how hard it can be to deliver proper care. For many of our franchise partners, these experiences have led them to Always Best Care.

After completing your meetings with franchisees, we recommend you take time to review their answers carefully. This stage is also a good opportunity to read through our FDD again. You’ll also want to confirm that your preferred territory is available and approved by Always Best Care. This is your last chance to tie up any loose ends before your pending approval.

It’s Discovery Day! You’ll be invited to our corporate headquarters in Roseville, California. During this visit, you’ll have the chance to speak with our corporate team to learn who your main support system is. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask final questions about our franchise investment.

Most importantly, you’ll have a personal meeting with our President and CEO, Jake Brown. This will be the last step before we determine whether you’re the right fit. Our team will immediately start deliberating after your meeting with our President. You’ll know very soon after if you’re approved!

You’re approved! Now, you’ll need to review and sign your franchise agreement and schedule your 12-week training with our team so you can learn how to open a home care agency.
