With only four days notice, Charmaine found us an excellent carer who offered care for 12-16 hours per week for almost six months during recovery from medical challenges. ABC’s care-person was perfectly suited to our needs, which included light house work, rehab exercises for my wife, driving my wife to appointments, and companionship. ABC’s oversight and tracking, each day, and by week, has been exemplary–quite comprehensive and systematic. ABC also showed considerable flexibility with any changes in weekly hours or days as these occurred over the months. If ever we have similar needs, we will go to ABC in a heartbeat.”

“My mother-in-law lives by herself in a city about 800 miles from my wife and I. She has children and grandchildren nearby who visit her often. But they are not caregivers and I realized after my father-in-law died that it was top priority to find at-home care for her. She’s in good health but has issues with her vision, her hearing, and her mobility. It was essential that we hire caregivers who were reliable, knowledgeable, experts at what they do and able to take care of her in a manner that was acceptable to her. We had used the services of Always Best Care when my father-in-law was still with us. There was no question about using their services for my mother-in-law. I can’t say enough about all they bring to their care for my mother-in-law. Most important is that the care givers always show up on time. Their reliability is unmatched as far as I am concerned. Living so far away, my wife and I never have to worry about whether the caregiver is with her. I understand that emergencies can get in the way with scheduling people for jobs in the service and health industries. The rare time or two when her regular caregiver could not make an appointment, Always Best Care sent a substitute who was familiar with all that was supposed to be done. And she was on time too. Another reason we rely on and appreciate the care provided by ABC is what my mother-in-law thinks about her caregivers. I often ask her about these visits and what she thinks of them. She always raves about her caregivers. Besides any health needs that she has, she always mentions how thorough the person is. I think that Always Best Care looks at their version of healthcare as holistic. It’s not just her medications and health issues. Her caregivers always ask her about how her days have been going. They ask about her eating, her sleeping, her walking inside and outside her place and her attitude towards her life. Is she still enjoying listening to audiobooks and watching TV? Are there issues with playing games with her grandkids? These are all important aspects of her care and as members of her family, we want her to still enjoy life. We want what’s best for her and my wife and I both insist that Always Best Care is what’s best for her.”
