We thank you for your service and sacrifices

The Federal Veterans Administration (VA) provides supportive medical services to help chronically ill or disabled eligible Veterans of any age remain in their home. These services are referred to as home health care and are considered extended care services prescribed by and under the direction of a VA physician. Always Best Care Greenville/Spartanburg is proud to be credentialed by the VA to provide home health aide services, homemaker services, and respite care under this Community Care Network program!

The services of a Homemaker and Home Health Aide can help Veterans remain living in their own home and can serve Veterans of any age. This program is for Veterans who need personal care services and help with activities of daily living. Services are based on your assessed needs. Talk with your VA social worker to find out what specific help you may be able to receive.

Examples of daily activities you may be able to receive help with include:

  • Eating
  • Getting dressed
  • Personal grooming
  • Bathing
  • Using the bathroom
  • Moving from one place to another
  • Grocery Shopping

Contact your VA doctor or social worker to request a consultation to see if you are eligible for these services, and if you are, be sure to request that their referral be sent to Always Best Care Greenville/ Spartanburg!
