Rookie Caregiver of the Month Award
Introducing our Rookies of the Month Award winners! To be eligible, an employee must be within their first 90 days of employment, have all of their certifications current, have completed all of their training, and be regularly serving clients weekly.
Please join me in congratulating our Rookie Caregiver of the Month for March 2021, Carey!
Carey started with us in February 2021 and jumped right on board picking up clients. She is new to caregiving but applied her training quickly and is doing an awesome job. She now has a steady client that loves her. She is reliable, a good communicator, and easy to work with.
About working for ABC, Carey says “I like caregiving because it feels good to make somebody’s life a little more enjoyable/easier. Everyone at Always Best Care has been so sweet to me and I truly love what I do and the company I work for.”
Congratulations to our Rookie Caregiver of the Month for February 2021, Briana!
Briana started with us in January of 2021. She was a referral from one of our other awesome employees. She jumped right in and completed all her training right away. With little experience in the field she willingly took on an important client and quickly and cheerfully learned her craft with the help of our Leads and by applying her training. She quickly endeared herself to the family. Since then she has taken on other clients and gotten great reviews from their families as well.
We appreciate Briana’s cheerful outlook and positive, proactive manner. We are really happy that you are part of the team Briana and look forward to growing with you into your future!
Please join me in congratulating our Rookie Caregiver of the Month for January 2021, Lauren!
Lauren came on board just before the holidays, completed her training immediately, and took on a steady client within days. She is upbeat, reliable, and her clients LOVE her sunny nature and her proactive work ethic. We feel really lucky that Lauren crossed our path!
About being a caregiver, Lauren says “I love caregiving because it feels like I am making a difference while getting to know new people each day. I also like interacting with seniors because of the wisdom or life tips they provide 🙂”

December 2020 Rookie Caregiver of the Month
Please join me in congratulating our Rookie Caregiver of the Month, Carla! Carla has been with us less than 90 days, but she is definitely not a “rookie” when it comes to caring for people. She has a wealth of experience caring for the elderly, and has studied her craft academically as well. Carla jumped right on board, helping cover shifts with a smile and a gentle, caring manner. Her clients love her and request her to come back time and time again. She has definitely been a wonderful addition to our team!
About being a caregiver, Carla says this: “Being a caregiver has been a passion for me since I was young. Being raised with a blind great grandfather taught me to be kind, gentle, and respectful to my elders as well as others. I loved the stories of history I learned from all my patients. I would always say I hope that when I get that old I hope that someone would care for me the way i care for others. I have been doing this for 15yrs and it’s still always something new to learn. With multiple medical degrees I don’t use physically this is the one thing I will not be able to do without! I love it, I look forward to seeing my clients daily with smile waiting for me! Priceless!!!”
Carla, thank you for being you, and we are so glad that you have chosen to be a part of our team!

September 2020 Rookie Caregiver of the Month
The first Rookie Caregiver of the Month Award for September goes to Chelsea Fryrear! Chelsea began work with us at the beginning of September. She completed her training right away, has a regular client 5 times a week and picks up extra shifts as well. Her regular client said they are thrilled with her, and that she is a “perfect match!” Chelsea has a sunny disposition and is very responsive to any request. We are so excited to have her on our team and to see how she grows with us!
About being a caregiver, Chelsea said this: “For a long time I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I “grew up”, all I knew was that I always wanted to help people. All of the career paths that I wanted to do involved helping people in some way, whether emotionally or physically, I just wanted to help. When I worked in a retirement home I absolutely loved the job. I loved playing puzzle games, watching old tv shows with the residents and even just keeping a resident company, but that’s not all. I enjoyed helping them get through their daily tasks, helping them feel like they could. Alas, I didn’t last long at that job, the main reason, the company. So I thought caregiving wasn’t for me. Until I started working at ABC, my coworkers actually seem to care about me. And my managers, well they’re pretty cool! This company doesn’t just care about income and getting the job done. They care about its people, including the clients and even me. I’m so happy to have found a career path and company that actually works for me.”
Thank you Chelsea, we are so glad you have chosen ABC and we love that you are happy here!
