It’s official: Whitechapel will be letting out their visceral retch all across North America next spring, with the long-running deathcore group confirming a headlining 2025 tour alongside Brand of Sacrifice, 200 Stab Wounds and Alluvial.
The headliners announced their “Hymns in Dissonance” tour today (December 16th), and the 25-date trek begins March 18th at Raleigh, North Carolina’s The Ritz. The four bands kick off westward, and have a handful of Canadian dates in the mix, too. The trip concludes April 19th at Atlanta, Georgia’s The Masquerade venue.
Local pre-sales for all dates are set to go live on Thursday (December 19th), while tickets will be made available to the public the following day. You’ll find more info here, while a full breakdown of all of Whitechapel’s upcoming tour dates is down below.
“This will be our first headlining tour on our new album cycle and we are looking forward to playing some new songs live for everyone,” guitarist Alex Wade said in a statement, adding of his upcoming tourmates, “The lineup is diverse with upcoming modern deathcore Brand Of Sacrifice, 200 Stab Wounds bringing the old school death metal flavor, and Alluvial contributing a heavy progressive sound to the tour.”
Whitechapel’s last album was 2021’s Kin, though this year found the deathcore group delivering their aggressively shit-feasting “A Visceral Retch” single this past September. At the time, the band noted the song homed in on the “dark and horror-like vibes” of their early The Somatic Defilement.
Details have yet to formally arrive on the next Whitechapel LP.
