Making People Feel Seen: The Florence Hinkle Difference

Florence Hinkle, Client Services Coordinator at Always Best Care, has spent much of her career helping seniors and supporting the people who care for them. Before joining Always Best Care, she served for 15 years as Resident Services Director at Brookdale Senior Living. Today, Florence works closely with clients, families and caregivers to help ensure each client receives the right care and support.

What makes Florence special, though, is the way she makes people feel. She regularly visits clients in their homes and facilities, often bringing small gift bags to brighten their day, and she makes a point of encouraging caregivers in the field. One employee shared, “Miss Florence always tells me that she appreciates what I do.” A family member praised Florence for always handling things “quickly and professionally,” while also noting how much their mother enjoyed Florence’s visits.

Client Janet Lansford perhaps summed it up best after Florence went out of her way to help her obtain a needed prescription: “It was such a thoughtful thing for you to do, and so helpful to me!” Florence’s kindness, encouragement and genuine love for people are evident in everything she does.
