Tyler is passionate about providing the highest level of care for our beloved kūpuna (seniors). Tyler’s generosity stems back to his childhood, raised with the belief that giving is better than receiving.

As a proud graduate of Kaimukī High School and the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (B.A. Biology), Tyler has flourished in the community by building successful businesses, creating jobs and affordable housing while providing the highest level of service to his clients. He is also certified with the State of Hawaii as a Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.).

Tyler experienced first-hand the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the elderly and chronically ill as he spent a lot of time at hospitals during his younger years. His mom and dad never had an opportunity to meet their 4 grandchildren as they both passed away early, in their 50’s and 60’s, due to chronic illnesses.

Rest assured that Tyler is an honest, hard-working, hands-on business owner who cares much more about his employees and clients, than about his bottom line. Tyler has always taken the “employees-come-first” approach. His formula for success is happy employees = happy clients. If he takes care of his employees first, pays them well, and treats them well, they will in turn, take care of their clients to the best of their ability.

He will always be accessible to you, 7 days a week, when you need him the most. He will personally see to it that all your concerns are addressed in a timely manner. His vision is also shared by his caregivers who are meticulously selected to ensure their clients are treated with the highest level of care, dignity, respect, professionalism and most importantly, “aloha”. They are well-trained with a specific set of skills that will cater to your needs. We consider our clients ‘ohana (family). My Name is Tatagi Pulido. Most people call me Tita because it’s easier to pronounce. My first job was helping seniors with Long term care and estate planning. I was amazed at the stories they would tell when we had conversations. They are a part of the greatest generation and deserve our love, compassion, and respect. I am proud to be a part of this industry and will treat all, as if I would like to be treated.

Aloha! My name is Maylee Costelo. Born and raised on Oahu and have always been passionate in helping others.

One of my jobs was working with the elderly in identifying gaps in their Medicare coverage. During this process, I saw a need for care for our elders. Here I am, helping to provide caregivers for our clients. I’m so grateful to be a part of Always Best Care and be a part of a team that wants the best care for our seniors.

I have worked in the Nursing industry for approximately 20 years now. I started out as a Nurse Tech while going to school to become a Registered Nurse. I graduated from Youngstown State University with a BSN and started my career as a hospital RN at a regional hospital in Ohio. Over the years, I have worked in a multitude of different ICU Specialty Units in multiple different states. I spent over 4 years as a Travel Nurse and gained valuable experience in the provision of nursing care in different locations and states throughout this beautiful country. I have worked in Corrections as a Prison Nurse. I have also worked at a Surgery Center in all phases of Nursing care (pre-Op, PACU, OR, and pre-Op Screening). The diversity of the different applications of nursing I have experienced throughout my career have greatly enriched my understanding of what it takes to provide proficient patient care in a variety of different settings. I look forward to the challenges associated with the Director of Nursing job title and am eager to do my part in making Always Best Care the best home health agency in all of Hawaii.

Aloha! My name is Abigail Tauai. I was born in American Samoa and raised here on O’ahu. I grew up on the Windward Side of the island in Kailua. Graduated from Kalaheo High School cheehoo!! I never knew the importance of providing in home care services until I became a Caregiver for my grandmother for 8 years. I am grateful for this opportunity to work for Always Best Care because I understand the high needs and demands our families’ when taking care of our kupuna.

Aloha my name is Marina. I moved to O’ahu when I was 8 years old. I grew up in beautiful Kailua and graduated from Kalaheo High school. I’ve always loved helping others. My job is to find compassionate and reliable caregivers for our seniors. I am grateful for this opportunity to work for Always Best Care because it is my passion to provide the best possible care for our Kupuna. This company really treats us like family.

Aloha! My name is Joy Carpio. Born and raised in the Philippines, I’m reliable, friendly, outgoing and detail-oriented. My job is to find compassionate and reliable caregivers for our seniors. I’m proud to be part of Always Best Care Senior Services that provide excellent services for our elderly.

My name is Darylina, but my co-workers affectionately call me “Lina-Girl”, or “L.G.” for short. I’ve been with Always Best Care since 2022. I was hired as a homemaker, but ABC assisted me in completing my Nurse Aide course to gain more skills and experience. Currently, I’m a full-time caregiver during the weekdays, and I assist the team with scheduling on the weekends. Both positions allow me to do what I really love, care for our kupuna. I truly love working with my ABC team as they are always willing to work around my schedule. Always Best Care is a company who truly cares about their employees.
