Demolition crews made quick work of a closed bank in Sicklerville, which will soon be developed into South Jersey’s latest 7 Brew drive-thru coffee shop.
Located at the busy intersection of Berlin-Cross Keys Road and Chews Landing Road, the bank (which most recently operated as Fulton) sits in front of the ShopRite Sicklerville location.
This is a prime South Jersey commercial area where at this immediate intersection you’ll find Acme, Wawa, Aldi, ShopRite and more. A new Aspen Dental building was developed immediately next to this upcoming 7 Brew.
The dense suburban area, highly-traveled roads, and being a key commercial corridor… made the intersection corner bank property a prime target for the growing 7 Brew franchise.
7 Brew has an already open South Jersey location in Washington Township, another coming to Blackwood- Clementon road… as well as Rio Grande and more!
This project was just approved in March of this year by the Winslow Township Planning Board… and when you factor in the busy intersection and extra approvals needed for road access, this project is moving very fast to already see the building being demolished just 6 months later.
For the earlier Township approvals 42Freeway obtained the site plan for the project. While it is in front of the ShopRite, there will be no car access between the ShopRite parking lot and the new 7 Brew.
Driveway access will be provided to both Berlin-Cross Keys Road and Chews Landing road, positioned so the driveway access is furthest away as possible from the intersection.
In fact to facilitate that, the water management basin is actually being positioned in the front corner of the lot.
Things are kicking into high-gear for 7 Brew in South Jersey as it was literally just a week ago when I wrote about the Blackwood-Clementon Road location project, which also had the existing building demolished.
For the Sicklerville location, they started today and by the time I arrived at 1pm the building was already a pile of rubble.
7 Brew uses a unique development process where the local site development is focused on foundation and parking, and then the building (which is developed off-site) is dropped into place. For Winslow the 7 Brew project is being handled by Doren Development.
7 Brew Drive-Thru Coffee
7 Brew is a newer drive-thru only coffee shop making a big push into South Jersey. They offer delicious and refreshing drinks including coffee, smoothies and shakes.
The name comes from their original seven handcrafted flavor recipes, but today they market the menu as a virtually unlimited number of options; can choose from the extended menu, create your own recipe… or maybe even ask about the secret menu?!
Earlier this year they opened a location in Washington Township on the Black Horse Pike, and there’s a pretty good chance you are familiar with it even if you haven’t been there!
I say that because 7 Brew in Washington Township has been so popular with the coffee and drink buying local community… even if you never visited the location, you likely heard about it!
For many weeks and likely months after the opening of the Washington Township 7 Brew, it had long lines of cars waiting to place their orders… at times the line of cars would extend around the shopping center parking lot!
Absolutely the biggest part of that success is that they make delicious coffee and drinks… but then also being new and the only location in the area at the time, that likely added to the lines.
Now with new locations soon coming on board, we should see the lines of cars even-out and quiet down.
And while not really in our 42Freeway area, just today in-fact a new 7 Brew location opened in Toms River.
The Blackwood-Clementon location is expected to open 1st Quarter of 2026. I did not get a chance to ask about Winslow Sicklerville just yet, but likely a similar answer.
