Each month, car enthusiasts from around the Bay Area gather at AutoVino to walk the rows, talk cars, and enjoy great food and local wine. The atmosphere is relaxed, the crowd is welcoming, and each event features a different mix of privately owned classic and exotic vehicles.
THIS MONTH: CELEBRATING THE NEXT GENERATION
This Sunday at Cars & Cabernet, we’re celebrating the next generation of car enthusiasts. At a recent event, a young guest wowed the crowd with a vibrant sketch of a Lamborghini Countach—proof that childhood passions can spark lifelong pursuits. Horacio Pagani began the same way, sketching cars before going on to restyle the Countach and eventually founding his own supercar company. Today’s young guests are tomorrow’s designers, builders, and collectors. Bring the family, walk the rows, and let the inspiration begin.
THE WINE GARDEN
After exploring the lot, guests relax at shaded tables in AutoVino’s open-air Wine Garden. The wines, crafted onsite by Woodside Vineyards, are made from grapes grown in Woodside and the surrounding hills of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation.
ON THE MENU
• Neapolitan-style pizzas by Nate, made fresh with 48-hour fermented dough—never frozen, just simple ingredients done right
• Tri-tip sandwiches, finished in the oak-fired oven and sliced to order
• Fresh salmon, roasted in the oak-fired oven and served as a sandwich or salad
• Half-pound burgers by French-trained chef Nick, skillet-seared and finished in a 900-degree oak-fired oven
INSIDE THE SHOWROOM
The indoor showroom at AutoVino features a rotating collection of exotic and collector vehicles, many of which are privately owned. In an adjoining room, the Museum of Automotive Art is also open to guests during the event. Inside the museum, visitors can admire rare and historic cars on display, including a 1937 Bugatti, a 1930 Phantom II Rolls-Royce Boattail, and the 1885 Benz Patent-Motorwagen, recognized as the first motor vehicle ever built.
