A wave of generosity and excitement swept through Water Tower Square today as Bob’s Discount Furniture officially opened the doors to its newest showroom at 751 Horsham Road in Montgomery Township with a ribbon cutting Friday morning.
This marks the retailer’s 195th store nationwide and continues its impressive growth as the 9th-largest U.S. furniture chain.
The new 20,087-square-foot location does not just promise affordable, stylish, and durable furniture — it also brings meaningful impact to the community.
“Bob's Discount Furniture is excited to bring our everyday low price offering in our beautiful new store to the residents of Montgomeryville and the surrounding areas,” said Christopher Day, senior vice president of Real Estate at Bob's Discount Furniture. “Our new store is located at Water Tower Square Shopping Center in the former Office Depot location. We selected this location for many reasons including its visibility, convenient access and egress and its proximity to other national retailers.”

With the creation of about 20 new local jobs, Bob’s is investing directly in Montgomeryville’s economy while offering customers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that includes complimentary snacks and refreshments at its in-store café.
Friday’s ribbon cutting, led by Store Manager Amanda Daniel, was attended by a host of local dignitaries, including Montgomery Township Chairwoman Audrey Ware-Jones, Vice Chairwoman Annette Long, and Board of Supervisors members Tanya Bamford and Beth Staab.
But the spotlight of the celebration belonged to two special recipients of Bob’s renowned “Random Acts of Kindness” checks.

These donations underscore Bob’s ongoing commitment to giving back through its charitable foundation and outreach programs, which contribute more than $2.5 million annually to schools and housing-related charities across the country.
The Montgomeryville store also features a signature Bob’s in-store café offering free gourmet coffee, ice cream, cookies, and candy to all shoppers — a hallmark of the company’s commitment to a fun and welcoming shopping experience.
