RAHWAY, NJ — Roosevelt Elementary School welcomed parents, guardians, and families to its annual Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, September 27. It was an evening filled with valuable information and opportunities for engagement between school and home.
The evening opened with a warm welcome from Principal Marianne Tankard, who shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming school year and the journey ahead.
Highlighting the spirit of unity and community, Roosevelt School was honored to have partners in education present at the event. Representatives from the YMCA, Pomptonian Food Service, Seasons of Learning, and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) participated in the evening in order to showcase the resources and support they bring to the school community. They highlighted a number of their respective contributions:

Back-to-School Night provided parents and guardians with a unique opportunity to connect with teachers, staff, and fellow parents, fostering a sense of collaboration and shared responsibility in nurturing students' growth and development.

Roosevelt Elementary School was excited to welcome parents and guardians to the annual Back-to-School Night, an evening filled with valuable information and opportunities for engagement.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Tankard, who shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming school year and the incredible journey ahead.
Highlighting the spirit of unity and community, Roosevelt Elementary School was honored to have partners in education present at the event. Representatives from the YMCA, Pomptonian, Seasons of Learning, and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) joined us to showcase the resources and support what they bring to our school community. They highlighted their respective contributions:
YMCA- provides before and after care, as well as summer camps.
Pomptonian- the breakfast and lunch service shared information about their services, including allergy needs, setting up and adding money to the students account, and balancing meals.
Seasons of Learning -provides before and after care.
PTA- was selling the newly designed spirit wear.
Back-to-School Night provided parents and guardians with a unique opportunity to connect with teachers, staff, and fellow parents, fostering a sense of collaboration and shared responsibility in nurturing our students' growth and development.
