COLLEGEVILLE — 7 Brew coffee continues its expansion in Pennsylvania with the planned opening of its newest location in Collegeville.
The stand is slated to open in January, according to Matt Peters, director of new store openings for Brew Team Group LLC, the franchise group that includes Exeter Township, Berks County residents Travis and Cortney Odom.
The new location, in the Collegeville Shopping Center on Main Street in Collegeville, is the first Montgomery County location for the chain, and the sixth stand owned by the Odoms and Brew Team Group, which is one of the largest 7 Brew franchise owner groups in the county, according to Peters.
Their franchise group owns two 7 Brew locations in Berks — in Sinking Spring and Muhlenberg Township, as well as locations in DuBois, York and Mechanicsburg.
Two additional locations will also be opening soon — in State College and Selinsgrove. Peters added that in 2026, the franchise team anticipates opening another 16 locations across Pennsylvania and in the northern part of Delaware. He added that the team is looking to open additional locations in Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties.
7 Brew is a drive-thru coffee concept that started in Arkansas in 2017 and is quickly expanding. The company currently has more than 400 stands in 30 states.
The New 7 Brew
The prefabricated 7 Brew coffee stand was placed by a crane at the location following some site preparation. Once it was delivered, additional site work was done, including paving, before interior work could begin, Peters told MediaNews Group.
Hiring has been underway for a couple of weeks, he added. As the January opening date nears, community outreach will begin.
That community outreach is part of every 7 Brew opening. Peters will bring in the Kindness Crew — a team of six to eight employees from the new location and other stands. They will help deliver thousands of drinks to local businesses ahead of the grand opening.
“The purpose of the Kindness Crew is to come in, show the 7 Brew love and energy and culture to all the new employees, to help them do the same thing,” Peters previously told MediaNews Group.
The team will be out on the road for about a week delivering drinks. A couple of additional events typically follow ahead of each grand opening, including a Caffeine for a Cause Weekend and a Friends and Family Weekend.
7 Brew
7 Brew serves espresso-based coffees, chillers, teas, 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas. There are a potential 20,000 unique drink combinations with customers able to customize their drink selection, according to the company.
Customers don’t go inside to order — there is no indoor seating and no ordering window. Instead, 7 Brew employees come outside with an iPad, talking to guests at their car window in the double lane drive-thru.
The first 7 Brew in Berks opened in October 2023 at the Spring Market Shopping Center, 3582 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. When it opened in 2023, it was Pennsylvania’s first 7 Brew. In August, a second Berks location opened at 3045 N. 5th Street Highway in Muhlenberg Township.
Hiring is continuing for 7 Brew’s new Collegeville location. Applications can be completed on the 7 Brew website. https://7brewteam.7brewcareers.com/.
