Fountain, who served as vice chairman, was arrested for the repeated sexual assault of a nine-year-old child over nearly seven years.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Fountain was in a caregiving role to the victim during the abuse. He admitted to the assaults, stating the last incident occurred just before the victim turned 16.
In late September, Fountain was also charged in Maryland for engaging in sexually explicit online conversations with a detective posing as a 14-year-old boy.

SKIPPACK, PA — Bail has been denied for the Montgomery County daycare owner and township supervisor who has been charged with child porn and sexually soliciting a child.
Nick Fountain, 38, a Collegeville resident, supervisor in Skippack Township, and former candidate for Pennsylvania state senate, is facing the charges in Harford County, Maryland.
In the meantime, he remains in Montgomery County Correctional Facility. An extradition hearing has been scheduled before Judge Risa Vetri Ferman on Oct. 5.
Since 2020, Fountain, a Perkiomen Valley High School and Temple University graduate, has owned the Magnolia Enrichment Center in Skippack and the Magnolia Children's Academy in Gilbertsville. The daycares serve children between the ages of six weeks and six years old.
While details of the case remain scarce, 6ABC reports that Fountain was talking on the Internet to who he believed was a 14-year-old boy, but who was in fact an undercover cop in Maryland.
Fountain is married and has two children and a stepchild.
He opened the Magnolia Enrichment Center in June 2020 and the Magnolia Children's Academy in August 2021. Both serve children from six months to six years old.
He ran for Pennsylvania state senate in 2022, in the 24th district that covers much of Montgomery County, and for the Pennsylvania state legislature in 2018, in the 150th district around Collegeville. He lost both races.
"The 24th is where I grew up, met my wife, am raising a family and began two small businesses," Fountain said in 2022. "This is my home and my plan is to make it an even greater place to live and work. I look forward to hitting the pavement and meeting voters from across the district."
Skippack Township Supervisors said they were "shocked" when they discovered the arrest.
"We don’t know many details right now and are seeking to learn more from law enforcement," the board said in a statement. "The details we do have, however, are deeply disturbing. If true, we call on Mr. Fountain to resign from the Board of Supervisors. We will not have anything further to say until we know more."

SKIPPACK, Pa. - A local township supervisor in Montgomery County is under arrest and now facing serious charges in Maryland.
What we know:
Nick Fountain, 38, is accused of engaging in sexually explicit conversations online with an undercover cop posing as a 14-year-old boy named Nate.
Court documents allege Fountain also sent explicit photos of himself and requested "Nate" send ones too.
According to charging documents, a detective sergeant from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland conducted this proactive undercover investigation for solicitation of sex and sex acts from minors online.
The Detective Sergeant said he reviewed multiple Reddit posts and comments on posts made by Fountain under the username "pro_busy_87" within the days before engaging with him directly.
The court document said, "These posts all encompassed sexual content and all revolved around sex acts or looking for sex acts between older men/daddies and younger boys."
He faces two charges for sexual solicitation of a minor and for soliciting a minor to engage as a subject in the production of child pornography.
Fountain’s re-election website said he was first appointed to the Skippack Township Board of Supervisors in 2013.
It said he is a father of three children and runs two childcare centers with his family.

SKIPPACK TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- An elected official in Montgomery County is facing disturbing charges related to sexually soliciting a minor and solicitation of child pornography.
Nicholas Fountain, 38, vice chair of the Skippack Township Board of Supervisors, was taken into custody this week on charges filed in Harford County, Maryland. He also helps operate two day care centers.
According to court documents, Fountain is accused of soliciting sexual images from someone he believed to be a 14-year-old boy. The individual was actually an undercover detective with the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators say Fountain allegedly sent explicit photos and made online posts with titles such as "38m looking for younger." Much of the communication in the court documents is too graphic for public release.
"It's very disturbing. As someone who has five children, I would lose my mind," said Brandy Moskal of North Coventry, Pa., who said she knows Fountain's wife but not Fountain personally.
Fountain is a father of two young children and has an 18-year-old stepchild.
According to his LinkedIn and Facebook profiles, Fountain owns Camp Magnolia in Skippack and Magnolia Children's Academy in Gilbertsville. Both businesses were closed Thursday, and no one answered the door at his home.
Fountain has served on the Skippack Township Board of Supervisors since 2013. In a statement, the board said:
