Albert said her professional background has helped shape her approach to board responsibilities, particularly when evaluating personnel and program matters.
“I come from a long line of educators who were activists and advocates. My priority as a BOE/Public Servant is to always act in the best interests of our students while advocating for teachers and providing the necessary support to administrators and staff,” Albert said. “It is an honor to represent our community on the Board of Education. I look forward to collaborating with members on the Bedminster Township School Board of Education and the SHSD Board of Education, and leveraging ideas to aid in the success of both districts.”
Albert has lived in Bedminster since 2017 with her wife, Seria Mills, a Weichert real estate agent. Their child graduated from Bedminster Township School and currently attends Bernards High School.
Outside of her board responsibilities, Albert enjoys spending time with her family, supporting students' community service projects, and volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, where she serves as lead committee chair for Troop 154.
