See What’s Behind the Scares
Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at Haunted Red Mill? For those who prefer their Halloween with a little less screaming and a lot more curiosity, Lights-On Backstage Tours will be offered on Thursday evenings, October 8, 15, and 22.
Visitors can explore the Haunted Red Mill with the lights on, discover how the attraction is built, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the sets, props, special effects, and historic spaces transformed for the Halloween season. Lights-On Backstage Tours are $15 per person available at the door or on our website.
A Community Tradition Built by Volunteers
Haunted Red Mill is more than an attraction—it is a community tradition powered by volunteers. From building sets and creating costumes and special effects to acting, feeding volunteers, managing crowds, and cleaning up after the final night, hundreds of people contribute their time and talents to make Haunted Red Mill happen each year.
Proceeds from Haunted Red Mill support the ongoing preservation, programming, and educational mission of Red Mill Museum Village, helping ensure that this historic site remains an active part of the community.
So gather your bravest friends, bring the family, or pull back the curtain and see what really happens after dark.
Just remember: this October, you never know what might be lurking in the shadows.
