View Full TestimonialTESTIMONIALSI cannot speak highly enough about the care and service from Always Best Care. Here are few Google ReviewsReal Stories From Families We’ve Helped“Shout out for Germanie who has been helping out my MIL (age 90) for about 6 months”
View Full TestimonialTESTIMONIALSThis is a shout out for Germanie who has been helping out my MIL (age 90) for about 6 months. My husband and I are so grateful for her. More to the point, my MIL loves her. When Germanie shows up, they basically hop in the car and go, go, go. The exercise and the company and being able to get out of the house has completely changed mom’s life. Before we hired Germanie, mom was sitting in her house alone and depressed after my FIL passed. Now she is living her life. It’s really a night and day change.

My name is Shonda Boudet. I started Always Best Care Senior Services after seeing my grandparents struggle with their aging journey and desire to stay at home. I grew up in Port Allen, LA and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge. I graduated from University of Louisiana Monroe with a BA in psychology, and I graduated from nursing school from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. I opened Always Best Care of Baton Rouge in May 2010 along with my husband, Bryan who served as the company’s CFO. Together we had two sons who are now students at Catholic High School. My husband and I were married for 18 years before he passed away. My passion for helping others intensified while becoming my husband’s primary caregiver after his diagnosis with cancer. My husband lost his battle with cancer in July of 2018. Since that time, I consider it a mission to continue the company we started together by offering the support and assistance for those that need care.

My name is Cynthia Leonard Salazar, CDP, and I have been working for Always Best Care (ABC) since October of 2013. I am married to a wonderful guy named Jason and we have two fur babies. My husband and I love to cook, and we love going to the beach. I have a master’s degree in exercise physiology, and before my career at ABC, I was the director of two health clubs in the Baton Rouge area. Until April 2020, I had also been a personal trainer for over 25 years. I received my dementia practitioner certification in 2024. I am the billing coordinator/operational assistant at ABC. I assist clients through the billing process and work directly with the Administrator in operations management. Working closely with ABC clients since 2013, I understand families’ difficulty navigating the senior care process, specifically on the financial side of providing care. Many families need clarity and assistance in understanding the available payment options and how to access them. Helping families through that process is a big part of my job.

When I am not working or spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy playing Mahjong, reading, and going to the gym.

My name is Deshanne Posey, I grew up in Baton Rouge, LA, where I graduated from McKinley Senior High School in 1990. I come from a large family with 13 siblings. My father was in the Air Force, so we traveled a lot while growing up. Prior work experiences before coming to Always Best Care (ABC) in January 2019 include a supervisory role as an Operational Manager at Walmart and working in the hospital field. I began my journey with ABC as a caregiver, transitioning into the role of a Client Service Assistant. I assist our caregivers with hands-on training and mentoring to enhance care for our clients while enhancing our caregivers’ knowledge and expertise. I find joy in helping others bring out their potential. Having been a caregiver to my own mother with dementia and other family members, I have authentic empathy, knowledge, and compassion for what it takes to be a caretaker. What makes me smile the most is when others feel the joy within themselves and know they are loved and appreciated. I am married to Reginald, and together, we have three children and one grandchild. In my spare time, you will find me in the kitchen cooking for the community or attending church events. I also find purpose in volunteering at the United Methodist Church, where I assist in feeding the homeless and ministering to church members in need. I love naps, movies, and especially quality family time.

I am a scheduler for Always Best Care of Baton Rouge and I love the connections I get to make with both our clients and our caregivers. As someone who was a caregiver for both of my parents before they passed, this industry has a very special place in my heart. I have 3 children, one son & twin girls who are always on the go. When I’m not working or chasing children, my husband and I are very involved in our local church.
My name is Kate Whitaker and I have been working in the home care industry since 2021 where I’ve found passion for scheduling and ensuring our clients and caregivers are a perfect match. I’m originally from Mobile, Alabama. I enjoy laughing, crocheting and spending time with my sweet kitties.

“We are grateful for the care and attention given. Paula, Senior Care Coordinator, helped guide us through the entire process, by phone, in person, or email. We appreciate the care, kindness, and attentiveness of several caregivers including Karli, Carissa, Barbara, Patricia, and more.”
“We began using Always Best Care Senior Services (Baton Rouge) about 6 weeks ago to help our mom. Paula (Care Coordinator) is extremely knowledgeable in the home care services arena and very patient, especially in working with parents who are resistant to accepting outside help. She is a very caring person who developed mom’s Plan of Care and checks in frequently to address any concerns we might have. It is a difficult job matching a particular caregiver with any individual. So many variations and personalities on both sides – caregiver & client. We are fortunate to have Kayla, who is a true gem! She is compassionate, caring, and has a strong work ethic. The things she has done for my mom in just 6 weeks or so is amazing. We could not be more pleased.”
“Kayla has been taking care of my Mom who has been having some health issues. Kayla is one of the most caring, capable and hard working individuals in the health care industry that I have ever met. My mom and dad both really like her and we are so fortunate to have her taking care of my mom. Paula has done an outstanding job working with my sister to help us get all of this set up and working like a well oiled machine. Thank you both, you are an incredible caring team and I appreciate it very much.”
“The team at Always Best Care has been great to work with. They listen and understand our unique caregiving needs. Mr. O, our caregiver for six months already, has been extremely caring and patient ALWAYS, very reliable, and demonstrates the utmost respect for his client. We have definitely benefitted from his caregiving expertise and knowledge as well as suggestions for accessibility improvements in our home. We consider him a valuable partner in my husband’s care.”
“Professional services.”
“My experience has been wonderful and professional! Great care with loving and caring providers. Thank you all, Cheryl G.”
“Always Best Care was wonderful in caring for our sister during the declining and last stages of her life. They were compassionate, qualified, dedicated, and did a good job keeping us informed. To the end, they were professional, watchful, helpful, empathetic, and kind, both to my sister and to us. We would especially like to mention, Tamia, Caroline, Alexus, Catina, Brandy, and Jeanette. They eased a journey through a very difficult time.”
“Always Best Care truly helped our family. When my mother-in-law started having health issues in Baton Rouge, we were living in Texas and couldn’t move because of our jobs. She also wasn’t ready to move to Texas. Choosing Always Best Care gave us peace of mind because she had help with rides, light cleaning, and, most importantly, someone to spend time with her. They always called us back quickly and were there when we needed them. I highly recommend Always Best Care if you can’t always be with your loved ones.”
“These guys ROCK! they have taken great care of my 84 yo mom who had a stroke + heart failure. Paula, Konya, Christmas and Diedre have been with us from the start and continue to to do everything for my mom. The best thing they taught me is that every human is not compatible with every human especially when it comes to caregiving; they listened to me about my mom’s personality, and after hard searches they found the right people. Make sure you have patience for this part, it is not easy for any company to do this.”
“Ethel is exceptional! She is kind, patient, and dependable. In addition, she is very caring, attentive, and engages with my brother. I feel great peace of mind knowing Ethel’s professionalism will provide expert care for my brother while I am at work.”
“Erica and Clementine both help with shower and clean house. Paula is very helpful when needed. Best move I ever made!!!!!!”
“I would love to shout out this beautiful company, I enjoy my caretaker linda .She does a beautiful job and taking care of me and her supervisor Christmas they take great care of me and does my paperwork on time . And I like to keep them beautiful company”
“I cannot speak highly enough about the care and service from Always Best Care. My husband has Alzheimer’s and for the first time since he was diagnosed, I feel like I have a true care partner. Karl is so kind and helpful, he has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. Thank you to all who’ve helped me in this difficult chapter in my life as well and, of course, in my husband’s care.”
“Roshere in staffing always professional excellent customer service !”
“This is a shout out for Germanie who has been helping out my MIL (age 90) for about 6 months. It’s really a night and day change.”
“I love this Company so much. The love i have been shown has been so amazing. The Staff one in Particular Mrs Lucy is WONDERFUL. She is so understanding and honest and easy to talk to u.This has by far been the best job I have ever worked in my CNA career.”

Senior care services are for people who need ongoing assistance that cannot easily be provided by their family or friends. Studies show older adults prefer to live independent, non-institutionalized lives, and in-home care is a safe, effective way to provide care in the comfort of one’s own home.
The answer depends on the type of care, the location of care and the level of care that is needed. At Always Best Care, we provide a no obligation care consultation and provide information on many options for paying for home care for you and your loved one.
Our company vision is to work as a united team providing the best senior care in the world, with the broadest range of services, and the most loving and consistent care anywhere. We are dedicated to exceeding your expectations…always
Your Care Coordinator will work with you and your loved one to select the best qualified caregiver for each client. They will carefully review your care plan and try to match the right caregiver with the specific needs of each client. It is our goal and your right to make sure that you and your loved one are completely satisfied with our service and we will bend over backwards to make this happen.
Every Always Best Care location employs all their caregivers, so extensive background and reference checks are conducted. Caregivers are insured for your safety and they all receive extensive training upon being hired and on-going training to keep up with the demand of our industry. What this means for you is that you or your loved one will receive some of the best caregivers our industry has to offer.
The time frame to begin care for a senior will depend on the urgency of the need for the person and family that will be receiving care. That could mean care could start within hours, days or weeks, depending on your needs.
How people pay for senior care depends on their financial situation and the kinds of services they receive. Often, people must rely on a variety of payment sources, including personal funds, government programs, and private financing options.
Traditional Medicare does not pay for 24-hour-a-day care at your home, meals delivered to your home, homemaker services like shopping, cleaning, and laundry that aren’t related to your care plan, custodial, or personal care that helps you with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, or using the bathroom, when this is the only care that is needed.
Home-based care is part of the VA Medical Benefits. All veterans are eligible if they meet the clinical need and it is available.
