The annual TIME100 list is out, and among figures such as President Donald Trump, musician Ed Sheeran, and surgeon and humanitarian Dr. Robert Montgomery are a Philadelphia chef and a sports star.
They are Chef Chutatip “Nok” Suntaranon of Kalaya and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The Dogist, aka Elias Weiss Friedman, is hitting the road for a live experience that brings his heartwarming world of dogs to the stage.
"Dog Nation, An Evening with The Dogist" is a new nine-city national tour that will feature special guests and their four-legged best friends, as well as inspiring stories from local Dogist fans whose dogs have changed their lives.

PHILADELPHIA — More Temple University students have had their visas revoked, according to officials.
Temple University President Jon Fry in a letter to the community Monday said the visa revocations happened over the last week and were done by the United States Secretary of State.
These new revocations affect current and former students, he said.
"Temple’s Office of Global Engagement has been in regular contact with these individuals, who are presently consulting with their attorneys to determine their next steps," Fry said.
Their identities were not provided.
"As a reminder, there have been no reports of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers being on campus," Fry said in Monday's letter. "And, as we have previously shared, we have an established protocol for working with ICE and CBP agents."
This announcement comes about two weeks after Temple officials said an international student's visa was revoked.
Details on why that student's visa was revoked were not available, and officials said the discovery was made during a recent routine review of student visa records.
Days later, three visas of students at the University of Pennsylvania were revoked. Penn officials said it does not appear the terminations are connected to protests on the school's campus last year.
"ICE agents have NOT been present on campus in connection with these cases," a letter to the UPenn community said.
However, the letter said officials are aware of reports of encounters with ICE agents at Penn and additional visa revocations.
Two current Carnegie Mellon University students and five recent graduates had their international visas revoked recently, as well.
These incidents follow two high-profile student visa revocations and detainments of students at Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil and Tufts University student Rumeysa Ozturk, who were outspoken about Israel's aggressive actions in Gaza after the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel.
Khalil and Ozturk are undergoing deportation hearings.

Produced in partnership with the Camden County Board of Commissioners, the XPoNential Music Festival attracts audiences from Greater Philadelphia, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeastern US to Wiggins Park, which offers convenient access via public transportation, two waterfront stages in natural amphitheaters that produce great sound, lawn seating, and riverfront promenades that offer spectacular views of the Delaware River and Philadelphia skyline.
In addition to its variety of artists, amenities that include free non-alcoholic beverages and an artist meet-and-greet area for WXPN members, a children’s activities area, and extensive food, beverage, and other vendor selections make the festival an enjoyable experience for music lovers of all ages.
“The XPoNential Music Festival has served as a staple event on the Camden Waterfront since 2005,” Commissioner Jeffrey Nash said. “As always, the festival has a wonderful lineup of diverse musical performances so there is truly something that everyone will enjoy. We cannot wait for this year’s event and encourage everyone to join us on the Waterfront.”

Powerful wind gusts caused power outages, damage and delays throughout the region.
SEPTA’s regional rail service on the Media/Wawa Line was suspended until further notice late Tuesday afternoon due to trees that fell on wires near the Moylan-Rose Valley Station in Nether Providence Township, Pennsylvania.
SEPTA's West Trenton Regional Rail service was also suspended between Yardley and West Trenton stations due to a downed tree on overhead wires.

PECO and PPL also reported the following power outage numbers as of 11 p.m.:
Montgomery County: 1,952 customers
Chester County: 221 customers
Bucks County: 301 customers
Delaware County: 144 customers
Lehigh County: 739 customers
Berks County: 728 customers
Bucks County: 796 customers
A Wind Advisory was in effect for the entire region until 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Viewers reported downed trees throughout the region with the heaviest damage in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
A spokesperson for Berks County Emergency Services released a statement on the damage around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
"While call volume has diminished, we are now handling hundreds of calls of a fairly minor (but important) nature. Fire resources are very busy throughout the county, with some jurisdictions having dozens of calls pending the availability of field resources to handle them," the spokesperson wrote on Facebook. "If you have a trees or wires down/leaning, stay away, do your best to keep others away if you can, and expect that it will be some time until fire resources may arrive. Do not call 9-1-1 again unless the situation gets worse/changes."
In Nether Providence, police officials reported that the intersection near Manchester Avenue and Woodward Road was shut down after a large tree fell and knocked down PECO poles and wires.
