SACRAMENTO, Calif — Rio Linda native Cam Skattebo was selected by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Skattebo's path to the draft began at Rio Linda High School, where he became a standout for the Knights. As a junior, he helped guide the Knights to a California state title, rushing for 3,550 yards and 42 touchdowns that season.
He finished high school with 6,192 rushing yards and 69 touchdowns. Skattebo went on to play for Sacramento State, where became a First-Team All-Big Sky selection and the Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year. He transferred to Arizona State following his sophomore season.
Skattebo's breakthrough performance came in the 2025 Peach Bowl where he ran for 143 yards and two touchdowns, caught eight passes for 99 yards and even threw a 42-yard touchdown pass.
Despite the Sun Devils falling short against Texas in a close game, Skattebo was named the game’s offensive MVP.

Omarr Norman-Lott is a defensive tackle from North Highlands and played college football for the University of Tennessee.
The Grant Union product played all 13 games as a senior as a reserve, recording 18 tackles and four sacks. He went to Arizona State out of high school and later transferred to Tennessee.

Elk Grove native Femi Oladejo was a monster for the UCLA defense, leading the team with 13.5 tackles and recording 4.5 sacks.
The Cosumnes Oaks product started all 12 games for the Bruins in 2024, finishing the season with 57 tackles and two pass breakups.
Before UCLA, Oladejo attended the University of California, Berkeley, playing 21 games and making 11 starts for the Golden Bears.
He's projected to be selected in round three, according to his draft prospect profile.

Sacramento State’s Jackson Slater was one of the top offensive linemen in the country in the Football Subdivision Conference (FCS). The Washington state native is coming off a season where he was named First-Team FCS AP All-American and a First-Team All-Big Sky selection.
He started a total of 44 games over four seasons with the Hornets and boosted his draft stock following an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl, a postseason all-star game that showcases draft-eligible seniors in front of NFL scouts.
“I’m just a guy who can assimilate in any offensive line room, as well, I think I have a really great mental understanding of football,” Slater said after his Pro Day.
He is projected to be selected in the fifth round, according to his draft prospect profile.
Lan Larison is one of the best athletes to come out of UC Davis, breaking records for the Aggies during the 2024 season. He holds the school record for all-purpose yards in a single season (2,387) and a career (6,504).
The running back was named a First Team FCS AP All-American and a First-Team Big Sky Conference selection following an outstanding senior season. Larison ran for 1,465 yards and 17 touchdowns along with 874 receiving yards and six touchdown catches on 62 receptions.
“I’m willing to do anything on the football field, and I just want to continue my journey of playing ball,” Larison said after his Pro Day. “Competition is why I live.”
Larison is projected to get picked in rounds six or seven, according to his draft prospect profile.
