Spring, TX (May 15, 2025) – A 13-year-old boy sustained injuries in a crash on FM 2920.
Deputies arrested a driver accused of hitting a 13-year-old boy on a bicycle and fleeing the scene, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
The Special Operations and K-9 Unit located and apprehended the suspect near FM 1488 and Magnolia Ridge Boulevard.
The crash took place in the 3800 block of FM 2920 near Falvel Road.
Officials reported that the teen was riding his bicycle when the driver struck him and then left without offering assistance.
Emergency responders transported the child to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released information about his current condition.
As of now, officials have not disclosed the driver’s identity or the specific charges they may face.
