Home Care Addis, LA

They say that your golden years are the best years of your life. For most older Americans, that's how it should be - a time to relax, reflect, and live life in a familiar place. After all, senior citizens in the U.S. have worked tirelessly to build a better economy, serve their communities, and raise families.

However, as seniors grow older, completing daily tasks like showering and enjoying activities such as visiting the historic Addis Historical Museum gets harder without someone by their side. Unfortunately, many older Americans aren't able to rely on their adult children for help. The reality in today's world is that family members do not have the skills or time to dedicate to caring for their parents. That's where Always Best Care Senior Services comes in.

Our in-home care services are for people who prefer to stay at home as they grow older but need ongoing care that family or friends cannot provide. More and more older adults prefer to live far away from long-term, institutionalized facilities and closer to the place where they feel most comfortable - their home. Home care in Addis, LA is a safe, effective way to give your loved ones the care they need when they need it the most.

What is Non-Medical Senior Care in Addis, LA?

lm-check

Home is where the heart is. While that saying can sound a tad cliche, it is especially true for many seniors living in America. When given a choice, older adults most often prefer to grow older at home. An AARP study found that three out of four adults over the age of 50 want to stay in their homes and communities as they age.

lm-check

When you begin to think about why, it makes sense. Home offers a sense of security, comfort, and familiarity.

lm-check

The truth is, as we age, we begin to rely on others for help. When a family is too busy or lives too far away to fulfill this role, in-home senior care is often the best solution. Home care services allow seniors to enjoy personal independence while also receiving trustworthy assistance from a trained caregiver.

lm-check

At Always Best Care, we offer a comprehensive range of home care services to help seniors stay healthy while they get the help they need to remain independent. As your senior loved one gets older, giving them the gift of senior care is one of the best ways to show your love, even if you live far away.

Respite Care

Respite Care Services

According to AARP, more than 53 million adults living in the U.S. provide care to someone over 50 years old. Unfortunately, these caregivers experience stress, exhaustion, and even depression. Our respite care services help family caregivers address urgent obligations, spend time with their children, and enjoy nearby activities. Perhaps more importantly, respite care gives family members time to recharge and regroup. Taking personal time to de-stress reduces the risk of caregiver burnout. So, if you've always wanted to eat at the local Henom Restaurant or visit Addis, don't feel bad. Doing so is great for both you and your loved one.

At the end of the day, our goal is to become a valuable part of your senior's daily routine. That way, we may help give them the highest quality of life possible. We know that staying at home is important for your loved one, and we are here to help make sure that is possible.

If you have been on the fence about non-medical home care, there has never been a better time than now to give your senior the care, assistance, and companionship they deserve.

Aging in Place: The Preferred Choice for Most Seniors

While it's true that some seniors have complicated medical needs that prevent them from staying at home, aging in place is often the best arrangement for seniors and their families. With a trusted caregiver, seniors have the opportunity to live with a sense of dignity and do so as they see fit - something that is unavailable to many older people today.

In-home care makes it possible for millions of seniors to age in place every year. Rather than moving to a strange nursing home, seniors have the chance to stay at home where they feel the happiest and most comfortable.

Here are just a few of the reasons why older men and women prefer to age at home:

How much does a senior's home truly mean to them?

A study published by the American Society on Aging found that more than half of seniors say their home's emotional value means more than how much their home is worth in monetary value. It stands to reason, then, that a senior's home is where they want to grow old.

With the help of elderly care in Addis, LA, seniors don't have to age in a sterilized care facility. Instead, they can age gracefully in the place they want to be most: their home. In contrast, seniors who move to a long-term care facility must adapt to new environments, new people, and new systems that the facility implements. At this stage in life, this kind of drastic change can be more harmful than helpful.

Institutional care facilities like nursing homes often put large groups of people together to live in one location. On any given day, dozens of staff members and caregivers run in and out of these facilities. Being around so many new people in a relatively small living environment can be dangerous for a seniors' health and wellbeing. When you consider that thousands of seniors passed away in nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, opting for in-home care is often a safer, healthier choice for seniors.

Aging in place has been shown to improve seniors' quality of life, which helps boost physical health and also helps insulate them from viral and bacterial risks found in elderly living facilities.

For many seniors, the ability to live independently with assistance from a caregiver is a priceless option. With in-home care, seniors experience a higher level of independence and freedom - much more so than in other settings like a nursing home. When a senior has the chance to age in place, they get to live life on their own terms, inside the house that they helped make into a home. More independence means more control over their personal lives, too, which leads to increased levels of fulfillment, happiness, and personal gratification. Over time, these positive feelings can manifest into a healthier, longer life.

More independence, a healthier life, and increased comfort are only a few benefits of aging in place. You have to take into consideration the role of cost and convenience. Simply put, it's usually easier and more affordable to help seniors age in place than it is to move them into an institutional care facility. According to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, seniors who age in the comfort of their homes can save thousands of dollars per month.

In-home care services from Always Best Care, for instance, are often less expensive than long-term solutions, which can cost upwards of six figures per year. To make matters worse, many residential care facilities are reluctant to accept long-term care insurance and other types of payment assistance.

With Always Best Care's home care services, seniors and their families have a greater level of control over their care plans. In-home care gives seniors the chance to form a bond with a trusted caregiver and also receive unmatched care that is catered to their needs. In long-term care facilities, seniors and their loved ones have much less control over their care plan and have less of a say in who provides their care.

 Elderly Care Addis, LA

Affordable Care

In-home care is a valuable resource that empowers seniors to age in place on their own terms. However, a big concern for many families and their loved ones is how much in-home care costs. If you're worried that in-home care is too expensive, you may be pleasantly surprised to learn that it is one of the most affordable senior care arrangements available.

Typically, hiring an Always Best Care in-home caregiver for a few hours a week is more affordable than sending your loved one to a long-term care facility. This is true even for seniors with more complex care needs.

At Always Best Care, we will work closely with you and your family to develop a Care Plan that not only meets your care needs, but your budget requirements, too. Once we discover the level of care that you or your senior need, we develop an in-home care plan that you can afford.

In addition to our flexible care options, families should also consider the following resources to help offset potential home care costs:

If your loved one qualifies, Medicaid may help reduce in-home care costs. Review your LA's Medicaid program laws and benefits, and make sure your senior's financial and medical needs meet Medicaid eligibility requirements.
Attendance and aid benefits through military service can cover a portion of the costs associated with in-home care for veterans and their spouses.
Many senior care services like in-home care are included in long-term care insurance options. Research different long-term care solutions to find a plan that provides coverage for senior care.
Home care can be included as part of a senior's private insurance plan. Read over your loved one's insurance policy carefully or speak with their insurance provider to determine if in-home care is covered.
Depending on the life insurance plan, you may be able to apply your policy toward long-term care. You may be able to use long-term-care coverage to help pay for in-home elderly care.
 Senior Care Addis, LA

Compassionate Care. Trusted Caregivers.

When you or your senior loved one needs assistance managing daily tasks at home, finding a qualified caregiver can be challenging. It takes a special kind of person to provide reliable care for your senior loved one. However, a caregiver's role involves more than meal preparation and medication reminders. Many seniors rely on their caregivers for companionship, too.

Our companion care services give seniors the chance to socialize in a safe environment and engage in activities at home. These important efforts boost morale and provide much-needed relief from repetitive daily routines. A one-on-one, engaging conversation can sharpen seniors' minds and give them something in which to be excited.

At Always Best Care, we only hire care providers that we would trust to care for our own loved ones. Our senior caregivers in Addis, LA understand how important it is to listen and communicate with their seniors. A seemingly small interaction, like a short hug goodbye, can make a major difference in a senior's day. Instead of battling against feelings of isolation, seniors begin to look forward to seeing their caregiver each week.

Understanding the nuances of senior care is just one of the reasons why our care providers are so great at their job.

Unlike some senior care companies, our caregivers must undergo extensive training before they work for Always Best Care. In addition, our caregivers receive ongoing training throughout the year. This training ensures that their standard of care matches up to the high standards we've come to expect. During this training, they will brush up on their communication skills, safety awareness, and symptom spotting. That way, your loved one receives the highest level of non-medical home care from day one.

Assisted Living Referral Services

While it's true that many seniors prefer to age at home, sometimes in-home care isn't the best fit. For those seniors and their families, choosing an assisted living facility makes more sense. Unfortunately, finding the optimal care facility is easier said than done in today's day and age. That's when Always Best Care's assisted living referral services begin to make a lot of sense.

Assisted living is a form of housing intended for seniors who require varying degrees of medical and personal attention. Accommodations may include single rooms, apartments, or shared living arrangements. Assisted living communities are typically designed to resemble a home-like environment and are physically constructed to encourage the independence of residents.

Respite Care Addis, LA

At assisted living communities, seniors receive help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. They may also benefit from coordination of services with outside healthcare providers, and monitoring of resident activities to ensure their health, safety, and well-being. Caregivers who work at assisted living communities can also provide medication administration and personal care services for older adults.

Other services offered within assisted living communities can include some or all of the following:

  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Recreational Activities
  • Social Outings
  • Emergency Medical Response
  • Medication Monitoring
  • Family Visitation
  • Personal Care
 Caregivers Addis, LA

At Always Best Care, our representatives can match your senior's emotional, physical, and financial needs with viable assisted living communities nearby. Results are based on comparative data, so you can select the best choice for you or your loved one.

Always Best Care works closely with local senior living communities to gain valuable knowledge that we then use to help seniors and their loved ones make informed decisions. This information can include basic care and rent, resident availability, and services provided. Because Always Best Care is compensated by these communities, we provide senior living referral services at no extra cost to you.

Some of the most popular assisted living communities to consider in our area include the following:

  • Fidelis Residential Care Homes
  • Acadia Senior Living
  • Best Assisted Living Baton Rouge - Luxury Senior Living Baton Rouge & Senior Care Louisiana
  • Oakwood Village
  • Senior Solutions for Senior Care
  • Addis Community Center
Home Care Addis, LA

For many seniors, moving into a senior living community revolves around how and when they want to make a transition to more involved care. Some seniors are more proactive about transitioning to independent living. Others choose to remain home until their care needs or other requirements are satisfied. Remember - our staff is here to help. Contact our office today to learn more about assisted living communities and how we can find a facility that exceeds your expectations.

LA Times By Rachel Levin March 10, 2009

L.A.’s Fairfax Avenue has long been a meeting place for diverse cultures.

It became an artery for the Jewish community in the 1950s, and the original Farmers Market has been a central gathering ground for Angelenos of every stripe since 1934.

The most recent arrivals to claim a slice of Fairfax as home are Ethiopians, who in the 1990s began forming a critical mass of restaurants, markets and service shops between Olympic Boulevard and Whitworth Drive.

In 2002, the city officially recognized this enclave as Little Ethiopia, and today the buzz of commerce — and coffee — transports visitors to Addis Ababa. Read More.

Along with the news, there have been many speculations on how this event came about and what it took to visibly acknowledge the essence of the area. As with most things in this world, Little Ethiopia began as a notion. Over a 10-year period, a number of Ethiopian restaurants and specialty store businesses slowly began to relocate to a strip on Fairfax Avenue. The neighborhood was soon transformed from an abandoned boarded up drive-by strip into a hub for community life, buzzing with colors, aroma, and affability of Ethiopian’s ancestral home. As years passed, Ethiopians and Angelinos began to label the area as “Little Addis”, “Little Ethiopia”, and “Ethiopian Restaurant Row”.

The notion began to take hold after PBS aired a segment of Huell Howeser’s popular “Our Neighborhood” show entitled “Little Ethiopia”. Meron Ahadu, co-author of this article, was the tour guide for that segment and the show got its title from the fact that the strip offered visitors a slice of Ethiopia.

The chain of events that led to the fruition of Little Ethiopia began when Meron Ahadu and Tirsit Asrat organized a fundraising for Congressman Mervyn Dymally, who played a key role in the mid 80’s in helping Ethiopians get amnesty. At the time, he was running for a seat in the California State Assembly. Unfortunately, the turnout by the Ethiopian community was disappointing. Nonetheless, it was at this event that the idea of Little Ethiopia was put forth and the Congressman pledged his support.

Five women came together to plan another benefit for the Congressman with a goal to get better participation from the Ethiopian community. It was at this time that the need became apparent to form a non-partisan organization that stood for an increased involvement of the Ethiopian community in the U.S. democratic process. Hence, the Ethiopian-American Advocacy Group (EAAG) was established. In addition to raising funds for Congressman Dymally, the function held on July 26, 2002 was the launching ceremony of EAAG. Various city and state officials attended this highly successful event. One of the short- term projects presented at this occasion was Little Ethiopia and it won the support of Herb Wesson, Speaker of the House for the California State Assembly, and Councilman Nate Holden of District 10, where Little Ethiopia was proposed to be located.

On August 7, 2002, the motion to name Little Ethiopia was presented to the Los Angeles City Council. Consequently, as a result of aggressive lobbying of several political personalities by EAAG members, the City Council voted unanimously to designate the area on Fairfax Avenue, between Olympic and Pico, as Little Ethiopia. The enormous support and candid enthusiasm of the City Council members and the larger Ethiopian community came as a pleasant surprise to many, even to those who worked on the project. A highly successful street festival organized by the community followed on November 24, 2002, to inaugurate the area as Little Ethiopia. A one-block stretch of Fairfax was closed to through traffic for a street festival featuring children’s village, cultural dance and music, fashion show and contemporary Ethiopian music. Approximately 5,000 people attended the festival from all walks of life and congratulations were received from around the globe. City officials and community leaders unveiled the sign designating the place as Little Ethiopia and thus the area was renamed bearing Ethiopia’s name.

This event was truly significant in many respects; firstly, this was the first time in the entire history of the United States that a city has recognized an African country by naming an area after it. Secondly, Little Ethiopia is the only place outside of Ethiopia that bears the name of the motherland. As one drives through the area, it is difficult to ignore the official sign designating the area. In that respect, it indicates that Ethiopians have arrived, are here to stay, and have stood up to be counted as vibrant members of the City of Los Angeles. Finally, yet importantly, this is a legacy for the next generation of Ethiopian-Americans. They will not be burdened with the task of establishing their identity but will have a footnote in the history books to refer to as they strengthen and build their presence in the U.S. and aboard.

It is quite overwhelming to realize that a deed at the local level should have such a universal significance. However, this only bears witness to the importance of engaging one’s surrounding, and begs the question: what can be accomplished if we focus on our commonality by setting aside our differences? What could the 65,000 Ethiopians in Southern California do if they join forces? How about the more than 500,000 Ethiopians in the U.S.? Better yet, what could a coalition of a couple of million African immigrants accomplish? EAAG hopes we will find out in our lifetime.

For nearly 30 years now, the stretch of Fairfax Avenue between Olympic and Whitworth has been home to Little Ethiopia, the second-largest concentration of Ethiopian emigres in the United States after Washington, D.C. And though the neighborhood has gone through changes over the decades, it remains a vibrant cultural center with an annual street festival, a host of art galleries, antique shops, and a rich dining scene.

Naturally, most of the restaurants in this neighborhood serve traditional Ethiopian cuisine — spicy stews, fragrant lentil and split pea dishes, and tangy injera — but even that is beginning to evolve. From a soulful take on Ethiopian home-cooking that received a nod from the Michelin Guide, to a completely vegan Ethiopian restaurant, to a modern take on old school Italian food, here are 11 must-visit restaurants in Little Ethiopia. And here’s a rundown of six spicy dishes to try in Little Ethiopia.

While technically a few blocks from the official neighborhood borders, Awash is a heavy-hitter of Ethiopian cuisine. Beef is the specialty here, whether raw as kifto smothered in chile and butter, or sauteed with onion and garlic as tibs. The space is rather tight and nearly always busy, so grab a drink at the back bar and save room for some traditional honey wine with your meal.

A perennial favorite in Little Ethiopia, chef Genet Agonafer has had heaps of praise bestowed on her 20 year old restaurant: Michelin Bib Gourmand, James Beard Award semi-finalist, and numerous other local accolades. The spicy doro wat is a popular order here, while the vegetarian combination is a great way to sample Agonafer’s range. The crisp white-tablecloth interiors are now reserved solely for private events as the toll of the pandemic paired with chef Agonafer’s focus on grandparenting resulted in a recent announcement that the restaurant would transition to take-out only.

Named for the traditional Ethiopian bread basket that doubles as a table, Messob arguably created modern Little Ethiopia when the original owner, Rahel Woldmedhin, opened it in 1985. Today, Messob remains a staple of the neighborhood, and a classic date spot where couples engage in gushra — hand-feeding your partner in a loving gesture. For those looking to try a range of entrees, the super Messob exclusive offers nine samples of entrees including the split lentil Yemisir Wot and the sautéed beef Zelzel Tibs.

After first opening Messob over three decades ago, Rahel Woldmedhin left in 2000 to start her namesake restaurant, which serves a fully vegan menu. Find a gluten-free version of injera, a fava bean ful, and various stews based on lentils, zucchini, and mixed vegetables. The full Ethiopian coffee ceremony is a special treat.

Before opening Lalibela in 2016, chef/owner Tenagne Belachew spent time in the neighboring kitchens of Rahel’s and the now-closed Marathon. At Lalibela, Belachew serves up her own versions of doro wat, Somali kifti, and more, along with a breakfast menu that includes genfo, the deeply comforting wheat porridge spiced with cardamom.

Annalisa Mastroianni has been serving up her delicious cooking food for some 20 years now through her catering company Annie’s Edibles. In 2018, she began holding pop-ups of Annie’s Edibles inside her Fairfax s’mores shop Gotta Have S’More—ultimately replacing the dessert concept with Annie’s Soul Delicious. The soul food heaven has quickly become a local favorite, serving up juicy oxtail, braised short-ribs, and Hennessy Wings (party wings tossed in housemade Hennessy sauce). In-store seating is limited at the moment, but delivery is available through all major apps.

For over a decade now, Paper or Plastik has been a singular destination in LA: part dance studio, part cafe/restaurant, with a retail section to boot. The espresso bar rotates a selection of beans from the likes of Coava and Black Oak, while the kitchen serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare including a smoked salmon and avocado tartine, lentil soup, and chicken schnitzel. Performances and dance classes are scheduled to return this summer.

Meymuna Hussein-Cattan and Christian Davis co-founded Flavors From Afar as a social enterprise to support the Tiyya Foundation (a portion of all sales goes to the foundation). Each month the restaurant highlights the cooking of a different refugee who they employ from Tiyya. Past menus have featured Somali, Eritrean, Guatemalan, and Afghani cuisines. Meanwhile, a “classics” menu features Egyptian gravy smothered lamb and Kenyan pan fried tilapia among other favorites.

Don’t let the faux-thatched roofs and kitschy decor of Rosalind’s fool you — the traditional Ethopian food here is solid. The flaky pastry sambussa is a specialty of the house, while the fish tibs is a real eye-catcher. The fully-stocked bar serves various Ethiopian beers like Meta and St. George.

Merkato lives up to its name, operating as both a restaurant and specialty foods market. The vegetarian combo and staples like awaze tibs or yebeg alicha are the way to go, while the wall decor and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling add charm to the experience. The adjoining market is stocked with spices, incense, fresh injera, and Ethiopian soap.

Coffee (or buna) has a rich history in Ethiopian culture. The coffee plant is native to Ethiopia, and the drink brewed from its berries is accompanied with its own customs. Buna maintains this culture with regular coffee tastings, traditional Ethiopian coffee, and an espresso bar with a full menu.

Ethiopian Air to fly from L.A. to Dublin, Addis Ababa

Ethiopian Airlines plans to add Boeing 787 Dreamliner service to Los Angeles, opening a route to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa that would have a two-hour stopover in Dublin.

The carrier would sell tickets not only on its one-stop route from L.A. to Addis Ababa, but also separately on each of the L.A.-Dublin and Dublin-Addis Ababa legs. Ethiopian Airlines says the flights will be the only direct service connecting Africa with Ireland and the West Coast of the United States.

Ethiopian Airlines plans to fly the Addis Ababa-Dublin-Los Angeles route three times a week using its Boeing 787 aircraft.

"Our new flights connecting Addis Ababa, Dublin and Los Angeles will play a critical role in the expansion of trade and tourism investment between the fast-growing continent of Africa, the United States and Ireland," Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde Gebremariam says in a statement.

"Our flights to Dublin and Los Angeles will be operated with the B787 Dreamliner, which offers unmatched on-board comfort through unique features such as greatly reduced noise, higher cabin air humidity, the biggest windows in the sky and spacious cabin interior, making this long-haul route more comfortable for our passengers," Gebremariam added.

The route is not a surprise; Gebremariam told Today in the Sky in August that the carrier hoped to begin flying between Los Angeles and Addis Ababa via Dublin.

The Irish Times suggests the route was officially announced after Ethiopia negotiated with Ireland for so-called "fifth freedom" rights in the nations' bilateral aviation agreement. In layman's terms, such rights allow an airline to sell tickets for the portion of the flight between the stopover city and final destination of a one-stop route. At least one leg of the journey must begin or end in the carrier's home country.

The carrier expects to launch the route June 15, according to the Times. Tickets are not yet on sale and flight times not yet determined as Ethiopian seeks to finalize the details.

While it might seem unusual that Ethiopian Airlines will sell tickets for nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Dublin, there are a number of foreign carriers that already offer such routes in the United States.

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific, for example, sells nonstop tickets between Vancouver, Canada, and New York JFK. The leg is part of a Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong to New York that makes a stopover in Vancouver.

And there are others. Air New Zealand flies — and sells seats on — a leg from Los Angeles to London, the continuation of a flight from Auckland that stops in Los Angeles.

Among other fifth freedom routes touching the USA: Korean Air's route from Los Angeles to Sao Paulo; Singapore Airlines' flights from Houston to Moscow; and a Kuwait Airways flight from New York JFK to London.

The routes are perhaps more common in other parts of the world. In South America, for example, two of the big Middle East carriers — Emirates and Qatar Airways — each sell nonstop flights between Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. And, among such routes on U.S. carriers, Delta flies nonstop from Amsterdam to Mumbai.

As for Ethiopian, Los Angeles will become its second U.S. destination, joining Washington Dulles. The carrier also flies to Toronto in Canada.

As one would expect, the new route was lauded by Dublin airport officials.

"We are delighted to welcome Ethiopian Airlines to Ireland," Dublin Airport Authority CEO Kevin Toland says to The Irish Times. "This new service will reconnect Dublin with Los Angeles and also brings unrivaled connectivity into Africa, as Ethiopian has the largest number of African destinations of any airline."

ADDIS, La. (WAFB) - For the last month, Americans have had to adjust to a new “normal” because of the outbreak of COVID-19.

For Dustin and Devin Blanchard of Addis, that meant drastically altering their one-year wedding anniversary plans for April 7.

Dustin, 25, is an electrician and has been working at a plant in Hobbs, New Mexico since January. Normally, Dustin would come back home to Louisiana to celebrate any special occasion with his wife.

However, if Dustin were to travel back home, he would have to self-quarantine for 14 days upon his return to New Mexico. He’s a contract employee, so he would not get paid during his self-quarantine.

“It extremely hard to stay in New Mexico for our first anniversary," Dustin said.

Devin, 29, is 25 weeks pregnant with the couple’s first child together. She also has an 11-year-old son, Mason, who was born before she met Dustin.

"But in order for me to stay financially stable and support my family, I have to stay here,” Dustin explained.

The separation during pregnancy has been a challenge for the couple.

“What makes this really hard is we’re having our first baby together and I haven’t been able to be with her through the pregnancy,” he said.

“This has been tough, but we are so thankful to be able to at least talk, text, and FaceTime each other,” Dustin’s wife, Devin said.

Despite more than 800 miles between them and a global pandemic, Dustin was determined to make his wife smile on their one-year anniversary, so he decided to enhance the way many families have been communicating during the pandemic.

“Once I realized I wouldn’t be able to go home, I decided I’d make a music video with tons of memories throughout the seven years we’ve been together,” Dustin said.

Dustin, a guitar player of 15 years, played Jordan Davis’ song, Detours, during his video chat with Devin on the day of their one-year anniversary.

As Devin listened to the song, a slideshow of the couple’s wedding photos, vacation photos, and photos throughout the years played on the screen.

“I was very emotional. I thought there was no way he put this all together for me! He works 10-hour shifts and has barely any time to himself. I wanted so badly for him to come through the front door,” Devin explains of how she reacted to the video.

See the full video of Devin’s reaction below.

The couple plans to name their first child Finnick Tod Blanchard.

If you’re looking for more uplifting videos from the Blanchards, check out the video Dustin recorded with Mason below.

Dustin says he has considered Mason his own child ever since he got into a relationship with Devin.
