The Pavilion, an open-air seasonal bar in Keansburg, is shown here in the early 20th century. One of the oldest bars in New Jersey still in operation, the Pavilion has been rebuilt many times, most recently in 2016 after being damaged during Hurricane Sandy.

Lucien's Old Tavern in Berlin was formerly called "Long a Coming" because it was a principal stage coach stop on Route 30 between Camden and Atlantic City. It was established in 1907 and was always run by the same family.
