The Greensboro Urban Area MPO is seeking public comment on the GoBORO Transit Plan, a strategic initiative designed to enhance public transportation in the Greensboro area. Developed with extensive public input, the plan incorporates insights from over 3,200 public comments gathered through two phases of outreach, 31 public events, and coverage in major media outlets, including TV, radio, Greensboro News & Record, Triad City Beat, and the Greensboro Business Journal.
The final draft of the plan is now available for public review for a 30-day period (February 7 – March 9, 2025). We encourage you to review the plan, share your opinions, and suggest next steps for implementation. Your feedback will help guide the future of transit in Greensboro. The plan will be presented to the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) on March 12, 2025. At that time, the TAC will consider adopting the plan. TAC will also consider recommending it for adoption by the Greensboro City Council and for favorable consideration by the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation.
