Presented by the West Chester Downtown Foundation and hosted by the Chester County Art Association & Downtown West Chester, this outdoor holiday market is free to the public and features over 100 vendors offering individually handcrafted and locally designed products, such as art, ceramics, jewelry, homewares and more. Santa and the Grinch will be at the market, along with carolers and live music for a festive holiday shopping experience.

Classic ballet gets a wildly entertaining, contemporary spin thanks to the talented performers of BalletX. Celebrating 20 years, the company offers four dynamic shows at Bryn Mawr College’s Goodhart Hall this weekend.

Believe in the magic of the season at King of Prussia Town Center’s Winterfest as you step into a storybook wonderland complete with printed photos of Santa and Mrs. Claus, train rides, a bubble house, face painting, holiday characters, a choir performance by the St. Patrick School of Malvern, a DJ and arts and crafts. After the sun sets, Winterfest After Dark takes over, offering an elevated happy hour experience with restaurants like Davio’s, City Works, Paladar and more mixing up their own signature takes on the classic espresso martini along with special food menus at each stop.

Cheers and chills await you at the Lincoln Mill Haunted House this weekend. With more than 50 scare actors inside, this event is for those who want something different from the traditional Christmas activities and don’t mind a good scare. The grand debut of Berwyn’s Holiday Market at the Farmers Market marks the last event of its biggest season yet. Finish your holiday shopping and shop for Christmas dinner, too, with more than 40 unique vendors, Santa and Mrs. Claus, live music, food trucks, farmers, purveyors and other surprises. Free family fun awaits!

One of the largest Christmas, holiday and winter attractions in Delaware County, this outdoor rink benefits the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association with its family-friendly fun including ice skating, moon bounces, heated tents, firepits and refreshments. Look for events like Eagles Autism Day (December 11), Santa’s arrival on a firetruck (December 18), a New Year’s Eve party and more.

A holiday tradition for many families, A Longwood Christmas is one of the area’s most popular attractions. Wander the paths outside through hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights, enjoy the flora and fauna inside the conservatory and get in the spirit of the season amid the vast beauty that Longwood Gardens offers. Timed tickets are required and sell quickly, so be sure to plan ahead.

Celebrating its 25th year, this collection of large-scale model trains include steam, diesel, electric and specialty engines rumbling along almost 500 feet of track amid woody and flowering plants and foliage.
