Tiny House Craft Beer is aiming to open its taproom in Atglen before the end of the year, according to a Breweries in PA article by Matt Kozar.
The brewery is targeting a December 2026 opening at 205 Main Street, where owner and brewer Kyle Oberle is turning a roughly 1,500-square-foot former garage into a taproom with 30 seats inside, 20 more in a beer garden, and an eight-seat bar.
The site once held a condemned two-story house, torn down before Oberle bought the property in 2024, “making room for a beer garden,” as Kozar writes.
Plans call for a 10-tap system, with Oberle still weighing a three-barrel or five-barrel brewing setup.
The core lineup will include a light American lager, a West Coast IPA, an East Coast IPA, and an amber ale, while rotating taps bring in additional lagers, dark beers, sours, and other styles.
Oberle brings more than a decade of brewing experience to the project.
His interest in craft beer took root at Elizabethtown College, and he went on to brew professionally at Burds’ Nest Brewing, Center Square Brewing, Big Hill Cider Works, and Victory Brewing.
He currently works for Bespoke Brewing and VK Brewing.
The brewery’s name comes from Oberle’s own history.
Early in his career, he and his wife built and lived in a tiny house for about three years, keeping expenses down while paying off college.
Food will be part of the plan from day one, with chicken salad, roast beef, BLTs, soups, and salads on the initial menu.
Down the road, as Kozar writes, Oberle “hopes to expand into burgers, wings and classic pub faire.”
Tiny House Craft Beer is documenting the build-out on Instagram and Facebook.
