Want to display your green-fingered efforts in style? Check out these mid-century style Florian plant pots from La Redoute.
While previously quite a tricky item to find, this is the second time planters like this have popped up – we recently featured similar designs from West Elm. These La Redoute designs are a lot plainer, but they're also a lot cheaper making them well worth a look.
Each pot is made from ceramic and sits atop a folding wooden stand. Although they're only available in a limited range of colours, the varied sizes are a nice touch (the tallest pot stands at 70cm) and means they look as good as a group – if not better – as individually.
Prices start at £65.

You might recall the Chaser sideboard from this maker, which we featured around a year or so back. Well, it seems there is a variation on the theme in the form of this Avon sideboard by Woodman.
Well worth a mention too, as it’s the kind of functional and stylish furniture that would be just perfect for a retro or midcentury-inspired home.
The sideboard has a solid oak body, with melamine doors and drawers and angled supporting legs, a well as two cable holes in the back, should you wish to use it for gadgetry or audio visual equipment.
It is sized at H 71cm x W 128cm x D 42cm and is actually duscoutbed at Love The Sign right now, selling for £299, which is £98 off the list price.

Something a little different in the clothing line, this Urban Renewal Vintage Surplus Navy Smock Jacket at Urban Outfitters.
It’s an old school cagoule, a rugged version of the much-loved jacket from the 1980s. This isn’t new, it’s a vintage range, with the items ‘cleaned and restored’ before returning to the shelves.
Available in just the navy you see here, this jacket is a pull-on with wide cut sleeves, an adjustable hood, and a large front pocket at the centre chest.
Various sizes, all selling for £46 each.

The Alonso Kantha chair from Plümo offers a take on the modern look that's a refreshing change from the usual reinterpretations.
The chair makes the most of those distinctive modernist lines, with its striking frame here made out of sheesham wood. Equally as eye-catching is the upholstery, which is made out of vintage kantha cotton, with the added bonus that the upholstery for each chair is unique.
There are five different upholstery options to pick from of various different patterns and colours. They're also removable if you eventually change your mind… And also pleasingly, the chair is Fairtrade certified.
You can buy one for £598.
