The Brian Jonestown Massacre have announced a new fall 2025 tour of North America. The pioneering San Francisco-based psych ensemble’s next outing will be its first run at home since 2023, when the famously fractious outfit clipped an Australia tour early after an onstage brawl between frontman Anton Newcombe and (now former) guitarist Ryan Van Kriedt. From Sept. 3 to Nov. 23, the band will blaze through 35 stops across the US and three in Canada. Dig!
The Brian Jonestown Massacre will set off its North American tour with a Sept. 3 set at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, N.C., then hustle through stops in Atlanta, Nashville, Tenn. and Asheville, N.C. from Sept. 4-6. After this quick Southeast series, the group will trek up the coast to shows at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club, New York’s Webster Hall, Philadelphia’s Union Transfer and Boston’s The Sinclair from Sept. 8-12, then cross the northern border to performances in Montreal and Toronto on Sept. 13 and 14.
The group will saunter down to the Midwest for stops in major regional hubs like Cleveland, Detroit, Louisville, Ky., Indianapolis, Madison, Wis., Chicago, Omaha, Neb. and Kansas City, Mo from Sept. 16-24. To close out the first portion of the tour, the BJM will bolt down to the Lone Star State for stands at Dallas’ The Studio at The Factory and Houston’s White Oak Music Hall on Sept 26 and 28.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre will return to the spotlight with an Oct. 31 engagement at San Diego’s Music Box, setting off a four-stop series in the Golden State–including a Nov. 1 show at Pioneertown, Calif.’s famed Pappy & Harriet’s. The band will hit Sin City with a Nov. 6 booking at Las Vegas’ Swan Dive, then wander around the Southwest and Mountain regions from Nov. 7-13 with five sets in Phoenix, Boulder, Colo., Salt Lake City and more from Nov. 7-13. After four Northwest stops, the group will return to its home city to perform at The Regency Ballroom on Nov. 20, then wrap the tour with a Nov. 21 play at Santa Cruz, Calif.’s Rio Theatre and two-night finale at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom on Nov. 22 and 23.
Tickets for The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s fall tour are available now through a Live Nation presale with code FUNKY. A general on-sale will follow this Friday, March 14 at 10 a.m. local time. For tickets and more information, visit thebrianjonestownmassacre.com/tour
