The Health Camp of New Jersey (HCNJ), in collaboration with the Hindu American Temple & Cultural Center – Sri Krishna Mandir, successfully hosted a Community Health Fair on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple in Morganville, NJ. The event drew an enthusiastic turnout, offering vital healthcare services, health education, and wellness resources to community members.
The fair provided free health screenings, personalized consultations, and educational sessions, underscoring a strong, shared commitment to improving community health. Its success was made possible through the dedication of volunteers from HCNJ, SSAI, SAMHIN, NADI, Rutgers, SATHI, temple management and volunteers, and many other community organizations. Longtime supporters, including LabCorp, Ritesh Shah Charitable Pharmacy, ANS, and Faith Home Healthcare, continued their generous backing of HCNJ’s health fairs in 2025.
Services offered included cancer prevention education, consultations in neurology, internal medicine, and women’s health, mental health screenings and counseling, physical therapy, dental screening and oral health education, eye screening for glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, stroke education, and alternative medicine therapies. HCNJ, the temple management, and partner organizations plan to build on this impactful collaboration with future health-focused events, advancing their shared mission of community-centered, culturally competent healthcare.
The next Community Health Fair will take place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Durga Temple, 4240 NJ-27, Princeton, NJ 08540. Online registration is open at www.IHCNJ.org and will close on Tuesday, September 3, 2025. With a legacy of over 13,500 individuals screened and 4,200+ chronic conditions identified in the past more than 26+ years, HCNJ remains committed to advancing community health. The organization is also actively working toward launching a Community Health Center by 2026, which will provide ongoing care and follow-up services for vulnerable populations.
