The July 24th Fun Friday will take place in Memorial Park located at North Main in Hightstown between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.. Hosted by the Hightstown Cultural Arts Commission, Fun Fridays include music, food and vendors downtown as an opportunity for the community to come together several times during the warmer months.
The company of Hightstown's Theatre in the Park program will perform “What Happened to Pluto: The Real Story” twice over the weekend – at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 24 and on Saturday, July 25 at 3:00 p.m. The free performances will take place in Association Park on Grant Avenue in Hightstown. Attendees are encouraged to the entire family as well as lawn chairs or blankets.

The five-week series of Yoga classes is hosted by the East Windsor Recreation Department with classes for youth on Saturday, July 25 in Etra Lake Park. Classes for students between 6 and 10 years old will be between 8:00 a.m. and 8:50 a.m.; and for 11 to 14 years old between 9:00 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. The Yoga classes for adults will begin on Monday, July 27 between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
The Summer Concert Series in Etra Lake Park continues with a live performance by The Verdict – a "high-energy Caribbean cover band. The performance will begin at 6:00 p.m on Saturday, July 25 at Etra Lake Park on Disbrow Hiss Road in East Windsor.
For the 104th year, the Mercer County 4-H Fair weekend-long event will be back with children’s activities, hayrides, animal shows, music, farm tours, magic shows, pony rides, and archery
This year, the 4-H Fair will take place on Saturday, July 25, between 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday, July 26 between 10 AM to 4 PM at Howell Living History Farm, which is part of the Mercer County Park Commission. The farm is located at 70 Woodens Lane, off of Valley Road, two miles South of Lambertville. The opening ceremony for the Fair will take place at 1:00 p.m. on July 25 in the Show Tent. A country dance with a string band and a caller is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on July 25. Admission and parking are free. Food and drink, including homemade ice cream, will also be available for purchase.
: Can't make it to the Mercer County 4-H, consider heading out to the 80th Annual Burlington County Farm Fair that started on July 21 and will continue through Saturday, July 25. The five-day fair takes place at the Burlington County Fairgrounds, located at 1990 Jacksonville-Jobstown Road in Springfield, from Tuesday, July 21, through Saturday, July 25, featuring family-friendly entertainment, agricultural exhibits, competitions, educational experiences, and carnival fun for all ages.
