William Duncan Jr., 67, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on August 13th, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever. He was a longtime resident of Little egg Harbor and was formerly of Glendora, New Jersey.
William was a man who had a way of making everyone around him smile. His love, humor, and larger-than-life personality touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His laugh was truly contagious. It was one of the many things that made him so special and so unforgettable.
William worked for many years as a floor supervisor at the Borgata in Atlantic City. He took pride in his work and in the many people he met throughout his career.
His deepest passions included the Philadelphia Phillies, the Philadelphia Eagles, and, of course, ducks—three things that brought him so much joy. He had a tremendous love for animals and found happiness in their companionship. His love for animals was just another reflection of the kind and caring person he was.
Above all else, William loved his family. He was adored by his family and friends and will be remembered for the happiness, laughter, and love he brought into their lives. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathy, his stepchildren, Melissa and Andrew, along with so many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
His absence will be felt deeply, but his memory will live on in every story told, every laugh shared, every Eagles or Phillies game watched, and in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 23, 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor William, share memories, and celebrate the life he lived. His ashes will be dispersed as part of the celebration.
In keeping with William’s love for animals, the family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ASPCA in William’s memory. A gift in his memory would be a meaningful way to honor the compassion and joy that animals brought to his life.
He was loved by all, and he made the world a little brighter simply by being in it.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
